In 2010, a crack sibling comedy unit was sent to their rooms by their parents for not listening. They promptly escaped from the unsecured bedroom to the backyard in Yardville. Today, still wanted by their parents, they survive because they know how to make their parents laugh even when mad. On February 6th Yardville New Jersey received about 18 inches of snow in what is a big snow storm for us. Well, Mother Nature wasn’t done and decided to bring more snow that began on February 9th about 9pm. We woke up to about 6-8 inches, and then it started to sleet for an hour, which was then followed up by a snowfall that this part of the State has not seen for a while. I headed outside with the kids about 4:00pm to shovel. Following completion of the driveway my friend Craig passed by on his way from sledding with the kids. Needless to say, my trunk was open and we pulled out the cooler and mini-heater and had an impromtu tailgate in the middle of the storm!!! By the time I headed in at 6pm, everything I had shoveled had another 3 inches on it. Yes, the snow was coming down at over an inch an hour. The kids will not have school again on Thursday, and it is likely Friday will be another snow day as we try to dig out from this mess. Enjoy the pictures and stop by if you want me to pull out the cooler and heater, I can guarantee the beer is cold!!!! (if the cooler isn’t empty!!!) Tyler was excited as we approached game time, but once the puck dropped he put his game face on, making icing and offsides calls from the 15th row of the second level!!! He was very excited that the Flyers won while sporting the new hat Grandma bought him. Let’s Go Flyers!!!!!
Well, The Flyers lost 2-1 in overtime, but it was a great game and a great day as I got to watch the game with my dad and son. |
